Install Eye Hinges
a.) Position eye hinge 4″ from top and bottom of gate centered on hinge side (Fig 1).
b.) Mark both eye hinge locations and make sure centered on hinge to ensure proper gate operation.
c.) Drill 3/8″ pilot holes 3″ deep in both marks (Fig. 2).
d.) Twist both eye hinges in the same depth and align eye holes (Fig. 3).
Install Screw Hooks
a.) Position gate in entrance opening with shim blocks allowing for enough ground clearance. Insert screw hooks in both eye hooks.
b.) Align gate and screw hooks to post and mark post meeting point (Fig. 4).
c.) Drill 3/8″ pilot holes 3″ deep in post (Fig. 5).
d.) Twist both screw hooks in the same depth and align hooks (Fig. 6).
Lift gate onto screw hooks (Fig. 7).
