MAX/MIN MEMORY
To view maximum temperature reached since activating unit, press MAX/MIN button. “MAX” appears on display to indicate the maximum temperature recorded. Press MAX/MIN button a second time within 3 seconds to view the minimum temperature reached since activating unit. “MIN” appears on the display to indicate the minimum temperature recorded.
NOTE: Three seconds after pressing the MAX/MIN button, the unit automatically returns to current sampling mode. Indicators “MIN” and “MAX” are no longer displayed. Turn the unit OFF to reset max/min to current temperature.
ROTATING DIGITAL DISPLAY
To flip the LCD display 180° without rotating the thermometer, simply press the
button on the back of the unit
BACKLIT DISPLAY
To illuminate LCD, press the
button on the back of the unit
ALL OPERATIONAL DIFFICULTIES
If this thermometer does not function properly for any reason, please replace the battery with a new high-quality battery (see “Battery Replacement” section). Low battery power can occasionally cause any number of “apparent” operational difficulties. Replacing the battery with a new fresh battery will solve most difficulties.

OPERATION
Remove the thermometer from the protective sheath. Press the ON-OFF button to activate. Press C/F button to switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius temperature. Insert the probe into the material to be measured and read display.
Note: The normal function of the product maybe distributed by strong electromagnetic interference. If so, simply reset the product to resume normal operation by following the instruction manual.
PRODUCT RESET
Product is effected by electromagnetic interference on occasion. If experiencing any issues with display or reading off, remove batteries, press all buttons and replace batteries.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
Erratic readings, a faint display, no display, or a battery symbol appearing on the display, or when all °C or °F digits flash are all indicators that batteries must be replaced. Using a coin, unscrew the round battery cover. Remove exhausted battery and replace with a new CR2032 lithium coin size battery (Replacement Cat. No. 1005). With the rubber O- ring seated properly, replace the battery cover.
